Legislative Internship

Every semester, we bring on roughly a dozen skilled interns to assist in our operations at the Capitol. Working closely with experienced staff, our interns play a significant role in the development and coordination of legislation, constituent services, communications, and office management. In addition to substantive experience working in a legislative office, these interns are provided with opportunities to further their future careers as many are sought by top-tier graduate schools and employers. On the second Wednesday in November from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, we’ll be stepping into the 21st Century by bringing our Legislative andCommunity Summit to you through the internet.The Summit will include a series of articles on avariety of topics, ranging from insider perspectiveson recent legislation, to in-depth cross-sections ofessential state programs, to concise updates on keyfunding opportunities.
